Soaring Over San Francisco: A Photographic Journey
What do you think? Is San Francisco the greatest city in the world?
I have heard numerous arguments in favor of crowning the Bay City as one of the best in the world. Well, at least the best in the United States. Some say the city offers everything; great food, interesting architecture, eclectic residents, great location close to the water, fantastic nearby natural attractions and fashionable public transportation (cable and street cars).
What is my opinion? I don’t know if there is a sophisticated way to put it into words. Ok, let me say it like this; San Francisco is the bomb!!! Now, that was easy.
My first date with the city took place during the last week of 2011. It wasn’t love at first sight. I was too scared when crossing the bay bridge totally covered in fog (for those of you who don’t know, you have to cross the bay bridge when trying to reach San Francisco from Oakland, by the way, I get nervous when hanging around tall structures). But as the days passed, San Francisco gained some terrain inside my heart. I can see myself returning over and over to the city.
So, what I loved about the city? Pretty much everything (except those hills that shoot my heart to 200 beats per minute).
Today, let’s fly around the city thru the following photos (yes, let’s pretend we are there).

I covered a lot of ground (and hills) in five days but it wasn’t enough. I didn’t even see half of what I wanted to see. I guess that is a problem you encounter when visiting world renowned cities. That means I will need to prepare for another date with the city. Hopefully, it will happen this summer.
