Mazatlán, a city on Mexico’s pacific coast, is quickly becoming the next cruise port destination hotspot. The stunning colonial city keeps growing year after year with more cruise lines adding it to their itineraries. And I can see why- Mazatlán is a phenomenal city with lots to offer a day-tripping cruise tourist . But is Mazatlán safe for cruisers? Back in 2011 many cruise lines stopped coming to Mazatlán because of local crime and safety issues.
